Eighty-four percent of U.S. residents say home values will hold steady or increase, despite trends to the contrary, a nationwide poll published in the Los Angeles Times found. Nearly a third of those surveyed this month predicted home values in their local markets would rise in the next six months, a Los Angeles Times/Bloomberg poll said. Only sixteen percent anticipated a decrease. The rest said values would hold steady. Fact – Most San Diego neighborhoods have seen home values drop double digits just since the Summer of 2005! Yes denial is powerful. I see it all the time when patients end up with thousands in dental bills because they paid little or no care to their dental care. People feel real estate has some magic that it can never decrease in value. Tijuana dentist
San Diego real estate is not alone in value drops. I think here in Riverside CA we are on par with San Diego for home value declines. Riverside CA lawyers
With ten years of an up market in San Diego real estate (to 2005) many assumed it would never correct in value! Now, they are just learning a sad truth. Lasik San Diego
