San Diego County Home Prices
The real estate reporting company, Dataquick, reported that the median San Diego County home price sold in April rose to $400,000, that was up 21% from April 2012!
So, now, in our housing recovery, San Diego County home prices are at their highest level in five years!
Obviously, our historic low mortgage rates are one of the factors driving the San Diego County home price recovery. Perhaps another factor is the fact that the San Diego County unemployment rate in April it its lowest point since November 2008! This information was reported by the state employment development Department.
On the negative side, the San Diego job growth has slowed since the beginning of the year, and in April the rate dropped from a revised 7.7% in March.
