Home Burglaries – Protect your home, family and property

The odds that your home will be burglarized this year? Data from the FBI 2012 crime report shows that we can expect one in every thirty-six homes in the United States to be burglarized this year, resulting in an average loss of $2,230 per break in (totaling $4.7 billion in property losses).
home burglariesDid you know that the most common time for a burglary to take place is between 10 am and 3 pm. Of course, burglaries can take place at any time of day, but this is the most common time frame.

In 2014, voters approved Proposition 47,  which reduced many drug and property crimes from felonies to misdemeanors.

From 2014 to 2016, property crime rates per 100,000 people rose from 2,459 to 2,544.4. For the purposes of this discussion, “property crime” refers to burglary, motor vehicle theft and larceny-theft (regardless of value).

So, now that you’ve seen the facts, that me say there’s a big group of elite Democrats who disagree with the facts. Their number one argument why the passage of proposition 47 did not increase property crime rates in California, is because, it just so happens that when it passed in 2014, that was the lowest year for crime rates in the state. And, so their thinking is that there was only one direction that crime rates could go, and that is up. . . this had nothing to do with the passage of proposition 47.

Now, looking at this from another perspective, if 2014 was the lowest year for property crime rates in California, what’s to say, if we did not pass proposition 47 in that year, that the California crime rates would’ve still trended down lower?

Also, the University elites who don’t believe in imprisonment and feel that our system of capitalism is a real reason driving people to commit crimes, have now been changing the definition of certain property crimes and burglaries so that the statistics do not really reflect the true nature of what’s happening in California.

The truth is, no matter where you go any major city in California you have a much greater chance that your car is going to be broken into and your house is going to be burglarized than before the passage of proposition 47.

This is just another example of my long-standing belief that liberal policies and up hurting and killing people.
