La Jolla California – Ho Chi Minh Trail

The trail startup in the La Jolla Farms area. This is an area of multimillion-dollar homes and is usually plenty of on-street parking. Keep in mind that the entrance is not well marked and if you think you miss it.

Personally, this trail is a pretty easy trail though you should have proper footwear because it is a lot of loose material on the trail that can make it easy to slip. If you’re not really confident enough to go across the plank is an easy trail right around.

Don’t worry about the rope at the last part of the trail going down it backwards is really very simple and probably one of the easiest parts of the trail. Keep in mind that once you’re on the beach if you go north you be in the middle of the famous Black’s (nude) Beach. If you head south toward the fear you come to the mushroom house but before that you also come to the surfers paved road that goes right down to the beach. This road is probably your best way to get back to the top. And no just emergency personnel local residents and the surf club at the University have the key to allow vehicle access on this road.

La Jolla California is a hilly seaside community, occupying 7 miles of curving coastline along the Pacific Ocean within the northern city limits.

La Jolla is surrounded on three sides by ocean bluffs and beaches and is located 12 miles north of Downtown San Diego. The climate is mild, with an average daily temperature of 70.5 °F.

All in all, the Ho Chi Minh trail is really one of those must do activities for San Diego. Be sure to bring your swimwear so you can have a quick dip in the Pacific after your hike down.
