New Real Estate Sales Restrictions
Sure, this video is talking about Canada real estate, but I bet California will be the first state to implement very similar real estate sales restrictions very soon. Justin Trudeau is pushing forward a NEW Bill in Canada to BAN real estate investing and real estate speculators, no blind bidding, and no more foreign buyers.
*Note – It’s my understanding this is a two year ban and only for foreign investors. Even so, if passed and in effect, who is to say that it would not be perpetually extended just like our Covid restrictions have been!
Canada has been a great place to invest over the past few years. We have seen many real estate speculators and real estate celebrities make a lot of money showing you how they invest in Canada in places like Ontario. However Canada is now considering a ban on real estate investing and real estate investors buying properties inside of Canada.

Trudeau has the highest immigration rate in absolute numbers in its history, 400,000/year; absolutely insane during Canada’s biggest housing crisis in history. That’s an additional good size city every three years. Problem is, the world’s second largest nation by area is not building any more cities. This alongside of new real estate regulation will likely have an impact on the real estate market in a negative way. There will be fewer and fewer real estate investors out there to buy these properties at current levels which will increase affordability and decrease nearly all homeowners asset values.
